Shae Smith, 16, was crowned Miss Missouri's Outstanding Teen 2019 on Friday, June 14 at the Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, Missouri. Shae was awarded over $8000 in scholarships for winning preliminary awards in Talent, Evening Gown and Onstage Question, and Fitness; the Overall Talent Award; the Photogenic and Teens in Action awards, and the CMN Miracle Maker Award, for raising the most funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Shae will spend her year promoting the Children's Miracle Network and her personal platform, as well as serving as the ambassador for the Miss Missouri's Outstanding Teen Organization. She represented Missouri at the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant, held in Orlando, Florida, July 23-27, where she won the Preliminary Talent Award and placed 4th Runner Up. She also received the CMN Miracle Maker
